I spend most of my time right now upgrading the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), developing real-time algorithms to reconstruct muons at the Level-1 Trigger, building custom high-speed digital motherboards to collect data, and searching for new physics beyond the Standard Model.
